About the role

You will own meaningful parts of the WhySoPaid frontend—from invoice creation and client records to expenses, cash-flow views and AI-assisted document workflows. This is a product engineering role with close collaboration across design and product, including the unglamorous edge cases that make financial software trustworthy.

What you’ll do

• Build, ship and maintain responsive product interfaces across core money workflows.
• Translate design intent into accessible, reusable components with precise interaction behavior.
• Integrate frontend state with APIs and real data, including loading, error, empty and permission states.
• Improve performance, test coverage and maintainability as the product grows.
• Review implementation tradeoffs with product and design, then carry work through release.

What we’re looking for

• At least 4 years of experience shipping customer-facing web applications.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript, modern component-based frontend experience and excellent CSS.
• Practical knowledge of accessibility, responsive behavior, browser performance and automated testing.
• Experience integrating APIs and managing asynchronous client state in production.
• Clear written communication and the ability to deliver independently in a remote team.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or a comparable modern framework.
• Work on fintech, document generation, complex forms or AI-assisted interfaces.
• Experience contributing to a design system or shared component library.

How we work

We are a small remote team with short lines between user feedback, product decisions and implementation. You will have broad context, direct responsibility for quality and room to improve the system—not just close tickets.

Location and working model

This is a full-time remote role open to candidates in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Vietnam or South Korea. Strong written English and reliable async communication are required.
